I really need to know why it takes longer to load this 1 min ONA, then it does loading a 25 min episode. Even skipping 10 sec ahead takes longer than skipping 3 min. ahead in an episode.

Change your damn server

I didn't ask for a solution. I asked for an explanation as to why a 3 min video buffers 3x as much as a 24 min. video while using the same server.
The longer the video, the more bandwidth, so logically the longer it would take to load. And yet I've experienced time and again that short videos buffer constantly. Even just skipping a 5 seconds ahead in a 3 min. video takes longer than doing so in a 24 min. video.

That is completely illogical and therefore interesting. Why is that?

People constantly are watching anime on the site. A single server couldn't possibly maintain all of those users at once. I'm guessing that you're using the first server yes? That's probably the most used server hence, the abnormally annoying buffer happens.

That's what I thought 1 year ago, but even a year ago I already reflexively chose a different server when one is buffering a lot. Neither does it happen often that I watch it at the time it uploads, when most people watch it. This would also still count when I watch a 24 min. anime and still the 3 min. one would buffer longer, even at peak watch hours.

Can't help but think there's still another reason. But, who knows, perhaps all those 3min. shorts I've always happened to be watching them when a lot of people are watching them... Chances are small, but not impossible.

When even other servers are buffering, come back another time or day. It typically goes back to normal after a day or two

Yea, after it happened a few times I determined it wasn't my internet or my laptop. I can't make heads or tails of it.

I am also having this problem.
and it's only here , my laptop and internet loads videos just fine in other websites.
